ESL Pro League Season 7 North America ,

Welcome back to the coverage of ESL Pro League Season 7 of the North American Circuit. In today's match up we have the highly rated Team Liquid facing off against lower tier North American but still viable Team Rogue. These two teams will be facing off in two best of ones today and this time we will be taking a look at the second match of the day to be played. With some warm up on the first map and then transferring over to this map, I feel we will get some better results out of each team.

Team Liquid :

Team Liquid are currently in fights for the top North American spot with Cloud9. Both of these teams have the talents to make this happen but right now Team Liquid seem to be pulling ahead ever so slightly. Nitro has been stepping up with the AWP and NAF has been an outrageous pickup for the team. Steel bringing some Brazilian flare is recognized as not the best player on the team, but his whole hearted attitude helps the team outside the game and his agression helps the team inside the game. Team Liquid have a nice balance of individual talent currently and I find them a pleasure to watch, I will be watching both the first and second games today.

Team Liquid's maps are as followed ; Mirage is 16-10, Inferno is 13-6, Train is 12-5, Cobblestone is 8-3, Overpass is 6-4, Cache is 1-2, and Nuke is also 1-2

Rogue :

Rogue are still in that early development stage that teams often go through. After picking up ex-TSM player Sick however, they have seen many positive results. Sick has brought a new young look to the team and even though this squad does have a mixture of European talent, Sick and Hiko of North America have been the real stand out players. Hopefully the Americans can lead the charge against their counterparts and hopefully walk away with at least one map today.

Rogue's maps are as followed ; Mirage is 9-4, Inferno is 6-4, Overpass 3-3, Cache is 2-2, Train is 3-1, Nuke is 2-1, and Cobblestone is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is an ESL Pro League match and with it we have two best of ones on predetermined maps. The map I will be focused on today is the second match being played on the map Inferno. I give a slight map advantage to Team Liquid.

Final Thoughts:

My final thoughts about this match up is that Rogue still has a lot to learn and prove if they want to be considered a top North American team, while Team Liquid has already proved this. Liquid has their eyes set to bigger fish to fry and should be able to take down Rogue on both maps. However we want to solidify the win more and I feel Liquid will have a more convincing win on the second map Inferno, and thus we shall go for a medium bet on them.
