CEVO Main Season 13 North America,

Welcome to the Grand finals of the "CEVO Main" series. Today, we have the two of the best up and coming North American team duking it out for bragging right and $6,000. The two teams competing today are the great Rise Nation and the undeniable Gale Force eSports. This is the end all be all and I would say it's safe to say that both teams are coming ready to play with fire in their eyes and I wouldn't want to miss this series.

Gale Force eSports:

Gale Force has done a great job getting this far in the tournament. Even going as far as to thwart my previous betting advice against them and defeating the late and great Soar Gaming. Where Jonathan "JonY BoY" Muñoz, had an outstanding series going 72-52(+20) in K-D. He would be a player I see standing out again in this series against Rise.

Maps are roughly the same as my last prediction with the variation of 2 more wins and 1 more loss. Though the loss on "Mirage", even though its ranked as their number one map with a record of 8-5, their confidence in playing that map might be swayed. Following suit is "Inferno" at a record of 4-7, "Cache" and "Overpass" remain the same at a 6-3 scoreline, "Cobblestone" sits at 5-4, "Train" lies low at 2-2, and finally "Nuke" rests at the bottom with a record of 1-1.

Rise Nation:

Rise Nation is the clear favorite to take this tournament, boasting a perfect record beating every team they're faced thus far. Dropping only two maps, losing on "Overpass" both times. Once to Gale Force in a previous matchup and once to the French Canadians lineup. Safe to say, they'll likely ban out "Overpass" given the chance.

The map pool for Rise looks promising. "Inferno" sits high with a record of 14-6, "Mirage" follows up at 11-4. "Nuke" sits at 8-6, "Cobblestone" at 5-4, "Train" at 5-3, and finally "Overpass" at 1-5. "Cache" is a perma ban for Rise.

Map Pick/Ban:

Though "Cache" is a perma ban for Rise Nation, playing against Gale Force, I could see Rise skipping the perma ban and banning off "Overpass" instead because of their recent form. With that said, Gale force is very comfortable on "Cache" and that will be Gale take full advantage of. Gale will likely pick "Cache" or "Overpass" as their map depending on what Rise ban. Gale will likely ban off "Inferno" to take away Rise's best map. The pick for Rise will be "Nuke", forcing Gale out of their comfort zone. The remaining bans will be "Train" and either "Cache" or "Overpass" whichever rise didn't choose to ban the first time. "Cobblestone" will be the decider.

Final Thoughts:

The maps pools and the options and advantages both of these teams have against one another are astonishing, and this will not be a series to miss. The Grand Finals, both teams forced to play maps they are uncomfortable with, it will be an excellent show of skill and only the best team will win. As I feel this game will be close, and the last best of three these teams played together went to a map three, if Rise wants to win they'll force Gale onto "Nuke" and not allow Gale to have a chance by picking "Mirage". All and all, Rise Nation I feel are the better team and should take the series 2-1 only dropping Gale's map choice.
