ESL Pro League Season 7 North America ,

Back to the online scene we go. After a long week of LAN playing in France, the teams return to the online stage as we take a look at a match up in the North American section of ESL Pro League. This time we will be looking at teams Dignitas and Optic Gaming. Both of these teams are unique and Optic has recently announced a roster change but I don't think that will effect them too much in this game. As for Dignitas, they too have picked up a new roster member and i'm looking forward to seeing how his presence will help the game pan out.

Optic Gaming :

Today Optic gaming has announce that they will be going full Danish and picking up former Heroic roster members Jugi and Snappi. For those unaware, thee two members of Heroic were some of the prime members and Jugi alone was the star of the team but with the addition of Snappi, I can see this fully Danish CSGO roster of Optic being not one to trifle with. The members who will be replaced are those of Stanislaw and Shazam. So optic is now a completely Danish team and contains no members of a North American squad. I can see this being both good and bad, Optic has tried the mixed European team in the past, but they've always had better luck when all members of the team were from the same country of origin.

Optic Gaming's maps are as followed ; Train is 6-8, Mirage is 6-5, Inferno is 6-5, Overpass is 2-4, Nuke is 4-0, Cobblestone is 1-0, and Cache is the perma ban

Dignitas :

Dignitas has really fallen off as an organization ever since the departure of their Danish lineup. Konfig and most of the current North roster have played for Dignitas in the past as a full Danish line up and it's almost as if Dignitas and Optic gaming switched roles. Dignitas now has a North American team and Optic has now gone full Danish. The newest member for Dignitas is former Splyce member Roca, and a personal favorite player of mine. Do I think Roca can save this team? No. However I do think he adds an X-Factor that no one can deny, but the rest of his team might not be able to perform on the same level that he is capable of.

Dignitas's maps are as followed ; Mirage is 3-7, Inferno is 1-7, Cache is 2-3, Train is 0-5, Cobblestone is 0-3, Oveprass is 1-2, and Nuke is the perma ban

Map Pick/Ban :

This will be a best of one game with the map yet to be predetermined. In every situation of a certain map pick I believe that Optic has the upper hand on all maps except Cache as it is their perma banned map.

Final Thoughts:

Going into this game I don't expect any hero plays or outstanding performances by any member of either team but I do expect the leaving player Stanislaw and Shazam hoping to prove themselves on the way out the door to look good for other teams. It always happens when someone gets replaced, teams want to see how members will perform after they've been kicked. So expect them to not throw, but also to not going entirely Nuclear.
