CSGO Asia Championships 2018,

We'll go for one more tip for the CSGO Asia Championships 2018. In the game following the Natus Vincere Vs. Envyus match-up, we have the Swedish Ninjas in Pajamas facing off against VG.flash gaming. We're going to dissect both of these squads considering VG is still a relatively new team and NiP actually just had a significant roster change. Let's dive in.

Ninjas in Pajamas :

The Ninjas have been played rather decently lately. Only losing to the teams they should be losing to like mousesports, the current globally ranked four teams in the world. Currently, the Ninjas sit at a globally ranked number eleven, putting them just shy of the top ten but after this event, that could possibly change. The Ninjas have also made a roster change that could possibly be one of the better moves for the entirety of the team. Dropping main AWPer Draken for the heavy lifting rifler of former Fnatic's Lekro, the Ninjas have given themselves the opportunity to get the AWP into the hands of either Dennis or Forest, who were both ex-AWPers for the teams they played on in the past. As it stands right now, Lekro is holding an overall rating of 1.08, which isn't the greatest of rating but compared to the other members of the team, it is possible for him to pull them out of where they are now.

Ninjas in Pajama's map pool looks like this; Inferno is 10-7, Mirage is 5-8, Train is 7-5, Overpass is 8-1, Nuke is 2-5, Cache is 1-1 and Dust 2 has yet to be played.

VG. Flash Gaming :

VG Flash Gaming is slowly on the rise in the Asian scene, but when put against higher tier opponents they fall short. Even when it's tier 2 or less they tend to struggle. When facing against more tier 1 level teams like Natus Vincere and NRG they flop. The ratings on VG Flash Gaming are high, no player is less than a 1.1 rating in the past three months. However, the majority of the games they have been playing were in the mainland of China against other Asian teams, which do not hold a candle to the European Circuit that the Ninjas are used to.

VG. Flash Gaming's map pool looks like this; Mirage is 9-4, Train is 5-4, Cache is 6-2, Overpass is 4-3, Inferno is 3-3, Dust 2 is 3-0 and Nuke is the permaban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of three series, each team will ban one map, pick one map, and ban one more. The last map remaining will be the deciding map played if the series extends to it. The Ninjas will want to take away the map advantages from VG, banning out maps Mirage and Dust 2 will confirm this. VG will ban out Nuke and Inferno. Leaving Train, Overpass, and Cache. I'll give no map advantage for either team as this will likely go to three games and each team is secure on all three maps.

Final Thoughts:

Looking at the stats involved with each team and the newly acquired member for the Ninjas, it is hard to say that the Ninjas will win in convincing fashion, but from what I've seen outside of the game. The members of NiP enjoy Lekro and are excited to have him apart of the team. This I feel is a confidence booster for NiP and will drive them to victory. Medium bet on NiP over VG.
