ESL Pro League Season 7 Europe ,

Welcome back to another tip an analysis of the European Counter Strike scene. In today's match up we have the Ninjas in Pajamas or NiP for short, going up against the other French team; Team Envyus. I've talked about both of these teams in the past but because they are going up against each other in a quick best of two for the ESL Pro league, let's take another look at these teams and see how far they have come since my last tip written.

Ninjas in Pajamas :

The Ninjas have been on steady ground ever since their pick up of Rez and Draken. Both of these young Swedish stars have allowed the vets if Nip to step up. Rez, the main rifler has brought an aggressive yet patient style to the game. He lurks, entries and is a general all around excellent player. Draken has become a meme in the CSGO scene for hitting insane flick shots with the AWP, being the main AWPer for the squad it comes to no surprise that these flick shots are an incredibly strong pillar that holds Nip up. I see the Swedish scene in general making a slow comeback and the Ninjas are well on their way to a successful rest of 2018.

Ninjas in Pajamas's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 9-5, Train is 7-4, Mirage is 3-5, Overpass is 3-3, Cache is 4-0, Cobblestone is 1-3, and Nuke is 1-2

Team Envyus :

Envyus have been put in a bind as of recent with their lack of teamwork. Going through several roster changes, dropping Sixer and XMS to pick up former team member Kioshima and newest addition Hadji. Both Kio and Hadji have not brought an edge to the team like once thought. But this is alright seeing that Envyus still have big names like Happy, RPK, and Scream. This team has the potential to do great but when I watch them I see a lot of individual play and not any team play, this leads to opposing teams snowballing the lead out of control and winning the game. Once Envyus can play as a team, I feel they will begin winning a lot of games, but right now it is very much individuality that separates this.

Team Envyus's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 5-10, Train is 1-7, Cobblestone is 3-5, Cache is 2-5, Nuke is 1-2, Overpass is 0-3, and Mirage is 0-2

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of two with each game represented as an individual game. In this tip we will be focusing on the second game on Train. The map advantage will easily go to NiP as they have a much better win rate and have played the map more. Nip have shown that they can be dominant on this map and have played Envyus on it in the map and won that match 16:8 and 19:15

Final Thoughts:

With this match up, I feel Nip are the team to win. Watching Envyus play Train yesterday against the likes of Mousesports I did not see any real effort towards winning the game or working as a team. Nip are a team and will do everything they can to help one another get to a good spot. Team Envyus will likely fall to Nip and therefore a medium bet should be placed on the Swedish Ninjas in Pajamas.
