Dreamhack Masters Stockholm 2018 ,

The player break is finally over and we can get back to the regularly scheduled program that is CS:GO betting tips. Coming in second in the coverage of Dreamhack Masters Stockholm is the best of one game to be played between teams MIBR and Hellraisers. Both of these teams are very unique in the scene right now and they both try to find ground to stand on when it comes to being a tier one competitive team. In this breakdown, we will go over both teams and their recent successes and failures as well as some out of game info that will shift an advantage in favor of one of these two teams.

MIBR :

MIBR has done close to nothing after being bought out from under the SK Gaming organization. MIBR is owned by the Immortals that rebranded themselves specifically for CS:GO. MIBR have some of the most world-class training facilities, coaches, and influence the likes of which CS:GO has never seen before. Yet still produced faulty results. After the acquisition of new coach YNK the team did go on to win the ZOTAC Cup finals, but this event was full of tier 3-4 teams and the only team that would've been worth the fight, Optic, went out in the first round. This event will be the first one for MIBR to reprove their worth as a team to the CS:GO community.

MIBR's map pool looks like this; Cache is 4-3, Inferno is 4-2, Dust 2 is 2-1, Overpass is 2-1, Mirage is 0-2, Train is 1-0 and Nuke is the permaban.

Hellraisers :

Hellraisers have been on the rise ever since the team became more solidified in themselves and have been recently putting up good numbers; winning the CIS Minor for the FACEIT Major and placing 5-6th in IEM Shanghai 2018. However, despite all of this recent success, news came in a few days ago that star player WOXIC would not be competing with the team for Dreamhack Stockholm due to Visa issues. WOXIC is particular has been plagued by these Visa issues and has caused him to miss many events in the past. With WOXIC I feel Hellraisers may have had a chance to do well this event, but losing an impactful player is always going to lower both morale and overall success.

Hellraisers's map pool looks like this; Overpass is 4-6, Mirage is 6-3, Train is 6-3, Dust 2 is 7-1, Inferno is 4-4, Cache is 4-1, and Nuke is the permaban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of one series, so three maps will be banned out from each side and the last remaining map will be the one played on. Though it looks as though Hellraisers have a significant map advantage, playing tier 2-4 teams during the last few events may be causing their records to look better than they actually are. After the permaban of Nuke, the rest of the field is fair play, I don't think either team will have a problem playing on the rest of the maps in the pool, but if I had to guess, Overpass and Inferno look the most enticing.

Final Thoughts:

Both of these teams are coming into this event with something to prove; Hellraisers want to be taken seriously and become a top 10 team in the world. While MIBR is trying to regain their once dominant form and begin a new era of CS. If WOXIC were to be playing for Hellraisers I would advise everyone to skip this game, but because WOXIC is not going to be present and the replacement for Hellraisers will have little overall preparation with the team, I have to give the advantage to MIBR. Low to Medium bet would be my recommendation.
