OK, so the ECS season 6 has come to an end, we have the fearfull Astralis clashing against team MiBR who were the underdogs in this tourney. Astralis finished the group stage as 2nd with three matches played, two wins, one loss a round difference of +20 and six points. After that they defeated NiP 2-1 (16-7 on Nuke, 11-16 on Train, and 16-5 on Inferno), it was a tough match but they gained momentum in the last game and owner NiP on Inferno in every way. MiBR on the other side was 1st in the same Group A with two played matches, two wins, a round difference of +7 and six points. During playoffs, they defeated team North 2-1 (16-2 on Train, 8-16 on Inferno and 16-9 on Dust2). This will be undoubtedly the match of the month since MiBR already defeated Astralis during the Group phase 2-1 (10-16 on Mirage, 22-20 on Train, and 16-14 on Inferno), so anything is possible here.

If we look at the stats we can see that Astralis is the 1st TOP team in this tourney so far with 1,14 rating on nine played maps and their best players are device 2nd with 1,23 rating, and Magisk 1,14 rating. MiBR is 3rd with 1,06 rating on seven played maps. and their best players are coldzera with 1,17 rating, and FalleN with 1,16 rating. Most-played maps on this tournament so far are Inferno x6, Mirage x5, Nuke x5, Train x4, Overpass x2, Cache x1, and Dust2 x1 so this slightly benefits MiBR because of their map pool if we take out Nuke of course. These two teams played a lot of head-to-head matches, and the score is 26 wins for Astralis with 21 wins for MiBR, the last three games are 2-1 for Astralis.

There is not much to discuss, Astralis are favored, but if we look at their last 20 or 30 games, we can see that all of their opponents managed to snatch over ten rounds, some of them even over 13-14 rounds. So that is a massive difference from when they dominated everyone in the first 2/3 of 2018 defeating everyone and not letting the enemy team take over 5-6 rounds total per map. There is a huge difference in winning $250,000 and winning $120,000, so this will be an excellent match to watch.

Good luck to all who bet, and don't forget to gamble responsibly!
