At the DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020, the Danes only reached the semifinals. As part of the ICE Challenge 2020, the MAD Lions team again reached the semifinals and took 3rd-4th place. Thanks to a series of successful performances, "mad lions" went from the top 20 to the top 11 in just a few months. But already at IEM Katowice 2020, the first failure occurred, the Danes did not win a single match and took the last place. After that, the team was kicked out of its most experienced captain - HUNDEN. He was replaced by AcilioN, who had performed well before in Copenhagen Flames.
