London Spitfire vs Toronto Defiant

This is where things get a lot easier prediction-wise: Toronto Defiant vs. London Spitfire is exactly the kind of match-up you want whenever you're putting your hard-earned money on the line. There's just no other way to put it. It is, in every which way, a clash between a mid-tier contender (who's arguably a bit better than expected) and a bona fide bottom-tier dweller (who's exactly as bad as everyone thought they'd be).

So, if you're after the best or most entertaining Overwatch, you'd be wise to skip this one. If, however, you want a "free win" then you're at the right place. Toronto are simply better in every way, shape, and form, and they've already done more than enough to warrant our benefit of the doubt. They are by no means a top-tier behemoth, but they're still well-equipped to take London down without breaking much of a sweat. At their best they're a well-rounded gatekeeper with the ability (or tendency, rather) to overperform when you'd least expect it. Their position isn't exactly an enviable one, but they've been doing fairly well thus far. They hold wins over Vancouver (hardly a surprise) and Atlanta (a hard-earned triumph after going the five-map distance) so they've at least earned a bit of respect for their efforts. Their recent loss to Washington, however, definitely left a lot to be desired. It wasn't an even remotely competitive affair, so it's still hard to fully assess and evaluate their overall power level.

Regardless, we know for a fact that they're better than the Spitfire and they should be more than capable of proving it tonight as well.
