StarSeries i-League Season 4 Europe Qualifier,

Coming back HAWT on the scene after an amazing end to the Major with North America taking it all! Super pumped for more Counter Strike and ready to watch these European teams now have to catch up to NA. We start back up with a sweet match up between two European teams who have potential to be on the rise this year in 2018. These two teams are Hellraisers and AGO.

Hellraisers :

Hellraisers are made of up of many different regions of the world and aren't really of a certain country. And though I don't know much about Hellraisers other than being of different nationalities, the language barrier has to have some difficulty and that they haven't been producing too many positive results in recent times except for a random pull off victory against Astralis.

Maps for Hellraisers are as followed; Cobblestone is 5-6, Overpass is 4-3, Cache is 5-1, Inferno is 5-1, Mirage is 2-3, Train is 3-0, and Nuke is 1-0

AGO :

AGO for me is still the number one team in all of Poland. With Virtus Pro's lack luster performance at the Major Qualifier I feel that team will be opened to many roster changes and AGO may fully take over at the best team in Poland. Constantly raising the bar and on a continuous climb on the global ladder I find myself really starting to like the play style and the form that AGO are currently possessing.

AGO's maps are as followed; Train is 21-7, Mirage is 17-7, Cobblestone is 6-4, Inferno is 9-8, Overpass is 11-3, Cache is 5-4, and Nuke is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This will be a best of three series with these two teams and the map pools are diverse so we will see a good selection of maps to come. Nuke will obviously not be played since it is a perma ban for AGO. Hellraisers will want to ban out the best maps and will go with Train and Mirage. Ago along with Nuke will ban out Hellraisers Cache. The three remaining maps will likely be Mirage, Inferno, and Overpass.

Final Thoughts:

In this match up specifically we find ourselves looking at a best of three series between two teams that are both ranked around the same globally. Competing in their own regions AGO has topped the charts while Hellraisers I feel have struggled to show that they are still a threat in the CS scene. This lack of threat, comes from their lack of play. As you can see by the recent maps for both teams, Hellraisers have played maybe 5-6 series in the past 3 months, where AGO have played closer to 20. AGO have a severe advantage when it comes to time in game and real time practice, I feel they will be very well versed for these games ahead in this event and with the other competition listed, they could have a possibility of making a final against the team I think will win the whole thing: Heroic. However in this match up, if it isn't clear by now, I take AGO for the win.
