FaZe Clan vs Team EnVyUs

ESL Pro League Season 7 Europe ,

It's been some time since my last tip but I've decided to take a closer look at the scene and reeducate myself on all of the trades and roster changes taking place. Now that I have a new found knowledge and that more rosters have become solidified, it's time to step back in the prediction scene and get some tips out to you guys. Today we will be looking at team Faze and Envyus who will be playing online for the ESL Pro League Season 7 Europe.

Faze Clan :

Faze Clan has recently had to make a roster change as their main rifler Olofmiester is unable to play currently due to personal reasons. Filling in his place for the time being with be Xist, a former Ninja's in Pajamas player. I hope he can bring a different dynamic to the team and will be a solid stand in for Olof as he recovered from whatever is happening. I wish Olof the best and i'm sure Xist will be able to put up some large numbers in the mean time.

Faze Clan's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 11-9, Mirage is 11-4, Cache is 10-4, Overpass is 7-3, Train is 4-4, Nuke is 1-2, and Cobblestone is the perma ban.

Envyus :

Envyus has been in a slump for what seems like an eternity. They recently snapped an eleven game losing streak after beating Ninjas in pajamas 16-13 on the map Inferno. It was no convincing victory at all, but winning one out of twelve is worse than zero out of twelve. I'm hoping Envyus can bounce back and create a solid team going into all of these early summer tounaments. Right now Envyus has been plague by sickness and injury, this is mostly effecting RPK but RPK is one of their main leaders of the team and without his the entire squad will struggle.

Envyus's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 5-8, Train is 0-7, Cache is 1-5, Cobblestone is 2-4, Nuke is 1-1, Overpass is 0-2, and Mirage is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of one series that will be played online. the predetermined map that will be played is none other than Cache. Because of this map choice I give a huge advantage to Faze Clan, as they have an outstanding record on the map and Envyus has only won one of their past six times played on it.

Final Thoughts:

My final thoughts on this match up are that even though Faze Clan are down one of their prime members, picking up a fifth like Xist will not effect their win rate too much. Especially against a team like Envyus. Envyus have and will continue to struggle until they figure out exactly how to deal with top teams like Faze and Mousesports. Cache being the map of choice by the Pro League will halter any attempt from Envyus to win. Faze Clan have this map close to being locked down by any other team wanting to win. Medium bet on Faze Clan to close this game out.
