FaZe Clan vs Natus Vincere

StarSeries i-League Season 4 Day 3 ,

Rough day yesterday losing the final prediction of the week and the only prediction for Sunday. SK Gaming are definately not up to their usual form and because of this I don't feel they will be getting anywhere near the podium in this event. Because of this Faze are the team to beat in this event and in this match up, Navi will be testing them head on in a best of three series in this match on day 3 of the StarSeries i-League Season 4. Let's take a look at these two teams and see what we can expect for the series ahead.

Faze Clan :

Faze have been taking no prisoners this event. Taking a crisp 2-0 win over both Tyloo and Cloud9. They have shown up to this LAN ready to take home the trophy, as they lost their chance at a Major title less than a month go. Faze is definitely out for blood and will stop at nothing to win this tournament. I feel Faze are the favorites to win and if I'm being frank, they look as if they will win cleanly with no maps lost.

Faze Clan's maps are as followed ; Mirage is 12-2, Train is 7-4, Overpass is 9-3, Inferno is 5-6, Cache is 6-1, Nuke is 1-1, and Cobblestone is 0-2

Natus Vincere :

Navi have found themselves with a 2-0 record over teams Gambit and Hellraisers. Navi have been looking better and better and that mainly has to do with Simple basically playing the role of 3 different members on the team. Electronic was brought into this team to help boost the fragging potential and create more opportunities for Navi. However he hasn't quite shown up the way the team has planned. With any luck Electronic will start to solidify in the future, but as of right now he is not living up to his capabilities

Natus Vincere's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 12-4, Overpass is 4-6, Mirage is 6-3, Train is 4-2, Cobblestone is 5-1, Nuke is 2-2, and Cache is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

As I stated above and as it's been for the entirety of this event, this will be a best of three series with four bans and three picks. Navi will ban out Cache as it is their perma ban, and likely the map Train. Faze will answer with a ban of Nuke and Inferno. The remaining maps; Overpass, Inferno, and Mirage will be played.

Final Thoughts:

You can probably tell who I'll be favoring in this match up based on my comments on Faze in the opening statement and the team comments. Faze are looking incredibly solid this event and I honestly feel that this is their trophy to lose. SK are not playing at their full potential and Faze have shown that Cloud9 got lucky during the Major and that they can take them down. The only other team I see that might have a chance is G2, but because of their Inconstancy, I don't see them taking it. Looking back to this match up, I see Faze taking this quickly. Medium bet on Faze.
