Dallas Fuel vs Atlanta Reign

The moment we've all been waiting for; the finals before the actual June Joust finals -- Dallas Fuel vs. Atlanta Reign is a match-up that is packed to the brim with potential! It is worth noting, however, that we didn't really learn anything from their previous semi-final matches against the Shanghai Dragons and the New York Excelsior, respectively. Both Western teams outclassed their APAC adversaries like it was nothing. Heck, it wasn't even remotely competitive and, in all fairness, it was tough to watch at certain points. We're still unsure of whether Dallas and Atlanta are so darn good at the game, or if Shanghai and New York had just imploded beyond measure.

Either way, these are two of the best teams in the Overwatch League right now, and it's not even close. They've reached this point through incredible teamplay, near-flawless execution, and a surprising amount of individual brilliance. Most folks didn't expect Atlanta to perform so darn well so early into the season, and yet here we are -- they've subverted our expectations in the best of ways and you just love to see it.

Opposite them, however, stands a team that is attempting to pull off yet another spectacular run for the ages. They've already dominated beyond measure back at May Melee, and they have all the right tools to become June Joust champions as well. Will they be able to deliver? Well, it's still too early to predict anything with absolute confidence, but the odds are definitely stacked in their favor. Atlanta have looked nigh unstoppable lately, but we know for a fact that they're fallible.

Moreover, it feels like Dallas should, in theory, be able to match whatever they might bring to the table. Be that as it may, this is a far closer match-up than most folks would lead you to believe. Dallas have earned out benefit of the doubt, but they're not going to have it easy against the Reign, so expect an absolute barnburner that'll probably go the distance!
