Cloud9 vs Renegades

TIP: Cloud9 to win.

CLOUD9: (ranked #17 in the world) Almost two years wandering the desert after their eleague major win, could it be two south Africans that will finally be the saviors they have been looking for. Lets not get too much ahead of ourselves just yet, but their win in the IEM katowice qualifier is more than enough to make this bet worthwhile. They have been playing together long enough that the chemistry is nice and settled. Their recent form should scare any team.

RENEGADES: (ranked #24 in the world) In the harsh world of counterstrike there can be no harsher mistress than being the second best in a region. You lose your best player every full moon, but still you have to carry on. They definitely got hurt a lot by losing gratizfaction and liazz. But they are not out yet and is still one of the top dogs in their region.

MAP STRENGTH: In a BO1 this has less impact, and for the first game of the tournament they could have planned anything, I expect them to duke it out on nuke as this is a great map for both teams. No clear advantage to anyone here.

In general there is a bit too many unknown entities in this match for me to be comfortable, but a five bet should be worth it in the long run.
