Cloud9 ranked #39 from North America are clashing against team Evil Geniuses ranked #3 from the United States in the ECS Season 8 North America Week 3 that has eight teams competing for the prize pool of $25,000. This tournament is played online in North America.

This is best of 3 type of match, grand final, where the winner will qualify for the ECS Season 8 Finals.

Cloud9 map performance in the last three months: Overpass is at 80,0% win rate on five played maps - WON/TIED/LOST - 4/0/1, Train 66,7% on six played maps 4/0/2, Nuke 60,0% on five played maps 3/0/2, Dust2 0,0% on three played maps 0/0/3, Mirage 0,0% on six played maps 0/0/6, and Inferno with 0,0% win rate on two played maps 0/0/2.

They played 20 maps in October and won nine, converted, they played seven matches and won three. During September they played seven maps and won two, in other words, they played three games and won one.

Pistol performance in the recent 100 days goes to team E.G. who have 62,7% win rating over team Cloud9 who have 38,6% total.

Evil Geniuses map highlights in the previous three months: Dust2 is at 100,0% win rate on six played maps - WIN/DREW/LOSS - 6/0/0, Inferno 100,0% on five played maps 5/0/0, Overpass 100,0% on only one played map 1/0/0, Mirage 66,7% on three played maps 2/0/1, Nuke 60,0% on five played maps 3/0/2, Vertigo 50,0% on two played maps 1/0/1, and Train with 33,3% win rate on three played maps 1/0/2.

They played 15 maps during October and won ten; in other words, they played seven matches and won five. During September, they played ten maps and won nine, converted, they played four games and won all four.

OK, so this is le grand finale, i honestly don't know how Cloud9 reached this far, but they are going to get whipped by E.G. We can see that this organization literally purchased NRG team, and they have big plans with it. They are well known established in the US, so it was just a matter of time when they would start to break through the CS: GO scene. So Cloud9 won against team INTZ 2-1 (16-8 on Train, 23-25 on Mirage and 16-11 on Nuke), then they defeated team FURIA 2-1 (12-16 on Mirage, 16-11 on Train, and 16-8 on Overpass). While on the other side, Evil Geniuses had little to no trouble in reaching the grand finals, they defeated ex-Singularity 2-0 (16-9 on Dust2, and 16-2 on Mirage), then they defeated team Complexity 2-0 (16-13 on Overpass, and 16-5 on Inferno). The winner will receive $12,500 and the ticket to the ECS Season 8 Finals, while the loser will have to satisfy with $7,500, and that is something worth absolutely nothing for both teams, so we can expect nice game here, but in the end, i believe that E.G. will win 2-0 here. Head-to-head these two teams played five maps, and the score is four wins for E.G. and one tied map. I will go here with -1,5 handicap on E.G.

Good luck to all who bet, and don't forget to gamble responsibly!
