ECS Season 5 North America ,

Today we will be looking back at the Cloud9 roster as we set our sights towards an ECS Season 5 North American game between Cloud9 and Complexity. Both of these teams have gone through some recent roster changes, and FNS the new in game leader for Cloud9 is actually from Complexity and only went to that team after CLG dropped their entire CSGO roster. It's a whole mess and a half right now in the North American CSGO scene and roster changes are happening left and right. TACO just recently was aquired by Team Liquid, and that will play a huge role in that side of the North American scene. But let's refocus and dive back into this game and pick apart Cloud9 and Complexity to see who will reign supreme today.

Cloud9 :

As we are aware Stewie2k is no longer with the Cloud9 line up, he left the squad to join forces with the SK Gaming squad to be TACO's replacement. Because of this shift, Cloud9 had to fill his role and has done so with FNS, however that's not all for Cloud9, Skadoodle looked towards heading out for retirement, but because of a lack of a fifth member at this time, he will continue to play for the squad and has actually put up decent numbers in his last few online matches.

Cloud9's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 15-10, Mirage is 14-8, Train is 13-4, Cache is 9-5, Overpass is 7-4, Cobblestone is 1-2, and Nuke is the perma ban.

Complexity :

With FNS joining and leaving complexity in a matter of weeks, this team still struggles to maintain the members of which it has. Complexity, though good, is not a team to be a contender for most North American spots in international events. These spots go more towards teams like Team Liquid, Cloud9 and NRG. However this isn't to say that Complexity can't put up numbers, but as of right now they are more or less a broken team and I don't expect them to put up much of a fight against a team like Cloud9, even with new members added.

Complexity's maps are as followed ; Inferno is 7-7, Train is 2-9, Cobblestone is 9-2, Mirage is 4-5, Cache is 2-4, Nuke is 1-4, and Overpass is the perma ban.

Map Pick/Ban :

This is a best of two with each game represented as an individual game. In this tip we will be focusing on the first game on Cache. Noticeably Cache is a strong map for Cloud9 and they even beat their ex teammate Stewie2k and the entire SK Gaming squad in their opening match up. Cloud9 have the definitive advantage on this map and I don't think that Cloud9 will want to give up a map they so strongly play on.

Final Thoughts:

My final thoughts headed into this game is that though Cloud9 is on the brink of losing another player and are playing with a new team mate, so is Complexity. Complexity are playing with their new team mate Slemmy and I don't think this will be enough to have an advantage over Cloud9. Cache is a map favoring Cloud9 and I feel a medium bet is going to be a sufficient one!
