AVANT ranked #120 from Australia are facing team Grayhound ranked #17 also from Australia in the Asia Minor Oceania Closed Qualifier - StarLadder Major 2019 that has eight teams competing for the prize pool of 2 spots for the next Minor event. This tournament is played online, and this is the best of 3 type of match.

AVANT map performance in the last three months: Cache is at 100,0% win rate on one played map - WIN/DREW/LOSS - 1/0/0, Mirage 66,7% on nine played maps 6/0/3, Inferno 62,5% on eight played maps 5/0/3, Train 62,5% on eight played maps 5/0/3, Nuke 42,9% on seven played maps 3/0/4, Overpass 42,9% on seven played maps 3/0/4, and Dust2 with 0,0% win rate on two played maps 0/0/2.

Grayhound map highlights in the previous three months: Cache is at 100,0% win rate on three played maps - WON/TIED/LOST - 3/0/0, Train 100,0% on two played maps 2/0/0, Nuke 92,3% on 13 played maps 12/0/1, Dust2 90,0% on ten played maps 9/0/1, Inferno 85,7% on 14 played maps 12/0/2, Overpass 82,4% on 17 played maps 12/0/2, and Mirage with 50,0% win rate on 16 played maps 12/0/2.

AVANT played five maps in June and won four, converted, they played two games and won both. In May they played only one match which they won. During April they played 17 maps and won eight, converted, they played eight games and won four. During March they played 18 maps and won nine, in other words, they played 11 games and won six.

Grayhound played four maps in June and won all four, converted, they played two matches and won both. During May they played 21 maps and won 17, converted, they played 13 matches and won 12. In April they played 27 maps and won 20, converted, they played 13 games and won 11. In March they played 23 maps and won 20, converted, they played 15 games and won 13.

OK, so the tournament is well underway, and AVANT won their first match against team ORDER 2-1 (16-14 on Overpass, 7-16 on Nuke, and 16-10 on Mirage), then they won against team Ground Zero with straight 2-0 (16-1 on Overpass, and 16-13 on Nuke). On the other side, Grayhound had a slightly easier opponent where they won their first match 2-0 against team PC419 (16-1 on Nuke, and 16-6 on Dust2), then they won against team Genuine (16-9 on Nuke, and 16-9 on Train). This being the upper bracket final the winner will qualify for the Asia Minor, so we can expect a tough fight here. These two teams played three matches head-to-head and the score is 0-3 in favor of Grayhound, but then AVANT was under Dark Sided team, so things have changed now. It is pretty clear why odds favor Grayhound, but even if they lose, they can fight again for the 2nd spot that will lead them forward. I will go with AVANT to win at least one map, just for the value sake.

Good luck to all who bet, and don't forget to gamble responsibly!
