Astralis ranked #2 from Denmark are clashing against Clan FaZe ranked #9 from Europe in the IEM Beijing 2019 that has eight teams competing for the prize pool of $250,000. This tournament is played on LAN in Beijing, China, and this is the best of 3 semi-final type of game.

Map highlights in the last three months for Astralis: Vertigo is at 100,0% win rate on six played maps - WON/TIED/LOST - 6/0/0, Train 85,7% on seven played maps 6/0/1, Nuke 71,4% on 14 played maps 10/1/3, Inferno 70,0% on ten played maps 7/0/3, Dust2 61,5% on 13 played maps 8/0/5, and Overpass with 60,0% win rate on five played maps 3/0/2.

Astralis played nine maps in November and won six (with one tied map versus Natus Vincere 15-15 on Nuke), in other words, they played seven matches and won four. During October, they played 20 maps and won 17, converted, they played ten games and won nine. In September, they played 19 maps and won 13; in other words, they played eight games and won six. During August, they played seven maps and won four, converted, they played four games and won three.

Pistol performance in the recent 50 days only on offline (LAN) events, goes to Team Astralis who have 48,5% win rating over Clan FaZe who have 38,5% total.

Map performance in the previous three months for FaZe: Dust2 is at 62,5% win rate on eight played maps - WIN/DREW/LOSS - 5/0/3, Nuke 61,5% on 13 played maps 8/0/5, Inferno 55,6% on nine played maps 5/0/4, Mirage 50,0% on six played maps 3/0/3, Overpass 50,0% on two played maps 1/0/1, Train 25,0% on four played maps 1/0/3, and Vertigo with 0,0% win rate on two played maps 0/0/2.

During September, they played four maps and won none, converted, they played two games and also won none. In August they played six maps and won only two, converted, they played four games and won one.

OK, so IEM Beijing 2019 is a serious tournament with $250k in prizes and much more valued prestige amongst the top 10 teams. The group stages are good as done, and so far, Astralis topped Group A with two wins and +36 round difference, while FaZe finished as 2nd in the Group B with two wins, one loss, and +14 round difference. It is strange how ENCE didn't manage to put up more fight and vigor in Group A, but we can say the same for Group B and EG.

Astralis are 1st TOP team in this tournament so far with 1,33 rating on four played maps, while FaZe are just below them with 1,15 rating on eight played maps. We expected that the 1st place for TOP players goes to someone from Astralis, but so far, they take all three TOP placements where "device" has 1,47 rating on four played maps, "Magisk" 1,38, and gla1ve who have 1,35 rating. "Xyp9x" is 5th with 1,33 rating, while only "NiKo" occupies the 6th place with 1,26 rating on eight played maps.

Looking at the maps played, we can see that Inferno was played nine times, Nuke x7, Dust2 x3, Mirage x3, Train x2, and Overpass x1. This benefits Astralis since they have a bigger win rating on Inferno, Nuke, Train, Overpass, and Vertigo (Doh!), while FaZe has only Dust2, and Mirage in their pockets.

So, head-to-head these two teams played A LOT of matches, and the current score is 19 wins for Astralis - 4 overtimes - 12 wins for FaZe, where the last three games are 1-2 in favor of FaZe.

Looking at all the stats, i don't see how Astralis loses this game, it may go in over 2,5 maps, but Astralis is too good at the moment, and their form is getting better from game to game, so yeah, my bet will go to Astralis with great odds 1,65.

Good luck to all who bet, and may the odds be ever in your favor chaps!
