Heroes of the Storm is one of the fastest growing esports scenes, with team after team being picked up by major esports organization names like Liquid and Natus Vincere. It seems that one of the most well-respected organizations on the planet, Dignitas, will be jumping in just a few days before the Heroes of the Storm European Championship with their acquisition of the team formerly known as Bob?.

A mostly English team, the roster consists of captain James “Bakery” Baker, Warrior player Lawrence “Atheroangel” Harper, flex player Josh “Snitch” Bennett, assassin Adrian “adrd” Wojcik, and flex player Matic “zarmony” Mikec.

“When searching for an organization, we were very focused on finding a team that would be able to support us with our goal to become one of the top teams in the world, and that truly cared about us as players,” team captain James “Bakery” Baker said earlier to DailyDot.com. “We are confident now that there is no organization that could do better than Team Dignitas.”

The newly minted Team Dignitas will be attempting to earn one of the two BlizzCon invitations up for grabs this weekend at the O2 Arena in Prague, and they are looking in fine form to take one. With a glittering list of recent achievements including a second place finish at the August open, third at the September open, and a win at the Enter the Storm 3 event, which netted them $10,000 and the ability to call themselves one of the best teams in Europe.

Unfortunately for Dignitas, they have a tough group to deal with this weekend including Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, and Pirates in Pyjamas. It does seem likely that the freshly signed roster will advance, despite a first game match against Team Liquid who are widely considered one of the top teams in the tournament. Before being signed as Team Dignitas, they managed to come out ahead twice in best of three’s in the Enter the Storm 3 event. Hopefully they can keep that form up in the days ahead.
